Strategically centred in Singapore, IVICT Singapore act as Middle East, South and Southeast Asia trading hub for bulk chemicals. We trade mainly in petrochemical and refinery chemical products, spanning Olefins, Aromatics, Acrylonitrile, Glycols, amongst others. These are essential raw materials for construction, automobile, polyester, packaging, and other applications. Our trade currently revolves around Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, the Middle East, as we continue to expand our reach. We are committed to being a valuable solution provider to our suppliers and customers who entrust the stable marketing and sourcing of their products and feedstocks to us. Our trading activities also includes chemicals storage and distribution in the region.
Acrylonitrile (AN) applications include Acrylic fibre, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) for the automobile, electrical appliances, and medical gloves industries. Our trading activities include storage and distribution in Southeast Asia.
Benzene is an aromatic hydrocarbon used primarily to manufacture Styrene Monomer (SM), Phenol, Cyclohexane, and Aniline, amongst others. Further downstream products include Polystyrene, Polycarbonate, Epoxy Resins, Phenolic Resins, Nylon, etc.
Butadiene (BD) is extracted from Crude C4 which is a co-product from crackers. It is used to make derivatives such as Polybutadiene Rubber (PBR), Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR), Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and elastomers. Such derivatives are key materials in the tyres, medical gloves, and electrical appliances industries. We operate BD tank storage in Japan and time charter vessels in Asia.
Ethylene has a wide range of applications. It goes towards the Polyethylene (PE), Ethylene Glycols (EGs), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Styrene Monomer (SM) value chains, for applications in the packaging, polyester, and construction industries. Naphtha or Ethane is fed into crackers to make Olefins – with Ethylene being the majority production. We have our export terminal in the United States which is one of our sources of Ethylene globally. We also operate time charter vessels in Asia.
Linear Alpha Olefins (LAO) are used in a wide range of applications, like plastics, surfactants, lubricants, waxes, etc. We handle mainly Hexene-1 and Octene-1 for co-monomer applications in Polyethylene (PE) and Elastomers.
Together with Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA), Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) is an important ingredient to making polyester and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) resin applications, mainly in the textile and beverage industries. MEG is also used as coolant and de-icing agent. SPDC Ltd (in which our parent company is an investor) has manufacturing assets in Saudi Arabia.
Paraxylene (PX) is a vital ingredient to Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) for use in polyester and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) resin applications, mainly in the textile and beverage industries.
Styrene Monomer is a Benzene derivative. Other than its main application in Polystyrene (PS) and Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) for packaging and building insulation, SM is also used make other copolymers like SBR, ABS, Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR), etc.
Sulphur is a refinery product used to make Fertilisers, Sulphuric Acid, Rayon and other chemical applications. It is traded in both solid and molten forms. We operate storage and distribution of Sulphur in the region, with our fleet of time charter vessels.
